In today’s Bollywood news roundup we have a lot of love to spread. First of, it was Bollywood’s IT couple Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khyan’s 5th wedding anniversary. Of course fans were hoping to see them step out on the day and give photo ops, which they did. Late in the evening, Kareena and Saif stepped out of their house, probably to grab a romantic dinner together. They were dressed in casuals as if they were going to buy groceries, which all the more makes this outing special. It is the pinnacle of romance when you don’t need to dress up to celebrate love, rather all you need is each other’s company, be it in the most basic clothes. We can’t wait to hear the details of their day.
After this couple there was another who made headlines. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli will once again be seen in an ad together, and boy, this one is going to blow your mind away. The first pic from this ad made its way on the internet today and it was all that was required to make it a perfect day for their fans.
Then, another couple was on news today. Game of Thrones actress announced her engagement to long time boyfriend, DNCE frontman, Joe Jonas. Yep, he finally popped the question and she said yes. We are so excited, too. The love birds made the announcement through their Instagram where they posted the same picture, of their hands, with captions -“She said yes” and “I said yes”. Priyanka Chopra, Lilly Collins, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Sarah Hyland – all posted their love and wishes on the posts.
We are not done yet. Another set of pics that went viral on the internet was that of Anita Hassanandani’s. The popular TV actress is also celebrating her wedding anniversary with hubby Rohit Reddy. They are away for a quick vacation in Maasai Mara and chronicling their time on Instagram.
And finally, we are sorry to ruin the vibe for you…but we have a negative news. A new threat has been issued against Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. The movie stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor in lead roles and is based on, as you may know by now, on a rather controversial subject of a Rajputana folk lore. A fringe Rajput group, Jai Rajputana Sangh, had given out a threat that if they are not shown Padmavati, they will not allow the movie to release properly and will burn cinema halls that screen the theatres.
So that was what news cycle had to offer for today. Come back tomorrow for our daily round up.
