Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu and Tusshar Kapoor’s Golmaal Again is all set to hit the silver screens this Friday (October 20). While the film is going to clash with Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar, the diverse audience and different genre will enable both the film to sustain well at the box office. The excitement around the fourth installment of the hit comic franchise will also give a major boost to the movie. With an extended holiday period and a fantastic buzz around it, Golmaal Again should perform phenomenally well at the box office.
Our trade expert – Akshaye Rathi (exhibitor and distributor) feels its a fantastic scenario for the film, as he mentioned to us, “The buzz around Golmaal Again is outstanding and with it hitting the crescendo at the right moment, I think it’s a phenomenal scenario for the film. Obviously, the film is releasing alongside Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar, but I don’t think it’s a clash, it is more of a co-existence of two films. The tier II & III audience, the single screen mass audience is super excited about Golmaal Again. So its an optimal scenario for a period like Diwali. I am sure Golmaal Again will perform very well at the box office.” (ALSO READ – Ajay Devgn’s Golmaal Again and Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar will enable Bollywood to make HUGE profits this Diwali – read our full box office analysis!)
